Andy Conlan is a published author and illustrator and an award winning feature film director.
With a Degree in English Literature, specialising in Creative Writing, Conlan has worked extensively in the visual narrative arts for many years.

His illustrations and photographs have been published by Vice, The New Zealand Herald, Pulp, Pilot, Frankie, New Zealand Musician, The Listener, Blockbuster Magazine, Hyperspace, Animal's Voice, Netguide, United Video The Entertainers and others. His illustrations and photographs have featured in advertisements for various organisations and events, from Greenpeace, to Anchor, to a Stephen King book launch.
Conlan has also held tenure as editorial cartoonist for Onfilm and Pro Design magazines.
He has four illustrated books for young readers released to date, with several more in preparation.
His debut feature film as a writer and director, The Last Magic Show, won the Jury Prize at the Dances with Films Festival in Los Angeles, California, the town's only fully independent film festival.
Outside of writing, image production and filmmaking, Conlan has also had a whole other career in broadcast and presenting, ranging from being a live ring announcer for boxing, Muay Thai and MMA, to being a producer and co-host for Love Songs 'til Midnight, a national late night music request show.
