Andy Conlan is a published author and illustrator, and an award winning feature film director.
Of his debut feature film, The Last Magic Show, Filmthreat.com said "Well acted, darkly lit, and gorgeously shot, the dark undertones of this story seem to ooze off the screen", and added that the film is a reminder of "exactly why you love independent cinema".
Conlan's debut illustrated novella, The Waiting Pig, was described by The Christchurch Press's Christopher Hampton as "sharp, subversive, sensitive, dry-humoured and perceptive".
